All Smoky Mountain Wheelmen board members are volunteers who simply care about bicycling in East Tennessee. Executive Board Meetings are called on an as needed basis and all members are welcome to attend these meetings. Our board is elected at the end of each calendar year for the upcoming year and consists of a president, vice president, treasurer, secretary and ride captain. We encourage all members to be involved in leadership by assisting elected officers and by volunteering to work on our primary fund raiser, the Cherohala Challenge.

Welcome to the Wheelmen! We are a group of men and women who simply love bicycling. Some of us race bicycle while others are strictly recreational riders. Although our club was founded by and for roadies, we now have many members who enjoy gravel riding and mountain biking. Our membership meetings are structured to provide a forum for discussing issues common to all, learning from area experts and for getting to know each other—all surrounding a sport we love.
