      <title>Gravel Ride (Friday, May 08, 2026)</title>
      <description>&lt;p&gt;Meet at &lt;strong&gt;Black Oak&lt;/strong&gt; gravel park on Friday for a &lt;strong&gt;10:00 AM&lt;/strong&gt; rollout as we explore this area, gravel or mountain bikes are best type of bikes for this ride. &amp;nbsp;Black Oak is located on Blair Road in west Oak Ridge. &amp;nbsp;Route, distance and elevation determined by group, this area is more difficult than North Boundary gravel roads.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;No facilities but a Weigels and Turtle Dog Park are a couple miles away.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;Nice temperature from upper 50's to mid 60's.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;&lt;br&gt;&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;EVENT:&lt;/strong&gt; FMP to Tremont Andy Harris&amp;nbsp;&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;Where: French Memorial Park 7752 Marting Mill Pike, Knoxville, TN 37920&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Date/Time:&lt;/strong&gt; Friday May 8, 2026 Rollout time 10:00 am&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Route:&lt;/strong&gt; This route will have several options. The ride will begin at French Memorial Park and go to Tremont and that will have a distance of 55 miles with an elevation of 2200 feet. Those that wish to do shorter distance and elevation can cut the ride short by turning back at several points, mainly at Townsend , the park entrance or at the Wye. The Tremont route is posted.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/p&gt;

September 12 - 17, 2026, riders will experience scenic backroads and welcoming communities while based at David Crockett State Park and Cedars of Lebanon State Park.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/font&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br&gt;&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;&lt;font face="Aptos, Calibri, Helvetica, sans-serif" style="font-size: 16px;" color="#000000"&gt;BRAT offers daily route options to fit a variety of goals and experience levels, with approximate distances of 35-mile routes, 50-mile routes, 100-mile routes. BRAT is more than a ride - it's a week-long cycling experience that raises funds to support Tennessee State Parks, the Cumberland Trail, and the Tennessee Park Rangers Association.
